Hong Kong-based certified Notion consultant, also working in youth development in the non-profit sector. I believe people who care deserve better systems. I help purpose-driven people and teams build their own Notion × AI systems, so they stop being worn down by chaos and turn the same effort into far greater impact.
My Story
Everything I do with Notion goes back to my father.
He is an electrical and mechanical engineer who built his company from nothing, a classic Hong Kong story of the Lion Rock spirit. But behind it, what stayed with me most was how late he came home every night, and the deep furrow in his brow. As a child at his company, I first understood why he was always so tired. Memos covered the walls of his office, sketches piled up on his desk, and his computer desktop was packed with files.
The biggest waste of time at work is looking for things.
My father
He said it all the time. My mother would say he insisted on doing everything himself. It hurt to watch him stay this busy, never able to put down the work or the pressure. I wanted to help him, but I did not know where to start.
In my early twenties, I went through a very different chapter, and afterwards I spent a long time getting to know myself again.
Daily journaling and reflection helped me sort out my thoughts, and martial arts, strength training and reading kept me grounded along the way.
Later, I joined the non-profit sector to run youth programmes, and I realised the scene from my father's office is common in many organisations. Information is unclear. Documents are revised again and again, and the same file lives in several places, with no one sure which version is current. Nobody wants it this way. Everyone cares deeply, yet as the work piles up, the chaos quietly becomes the norm. I began to feel that much of what burns people out is the energy spent dealing with chaos.

Around that time, I found Notion and read Building a Second Brain. The book says your mind is for thinking and creating, and information can live in a system you trust. I tried it, and the space it freed up let my energy go back to where people were truly needed.
With AI, this matters even more. When your information is well organised, AI can help you sort it, research with it and put your knowledge to use. The better it knows you, the more it can help.
Later, I read Rutger Bregman's Moral Ambition. He notes that the best charities can be fifty times more effective than the average. I thought of so many people who work with real care and are still drained by chaos. The same goodwill, carried by people and teams with good systems behind them, can achieve something completely different.
Bregman asks how we can make the greatest contribution. My answer is helping people and teams build systems that work.

What I Do Today
My work today has two sides: building Notion × AI systems for teams, and youth development in the non-profit sector.
I help individuals and teams organise their work through Notion workspaces, AI workflows and automation. I also work with Opptymizer as a Notion Implementation Expert on Notion and AI workspace solutions for companies. Each project starts with the work itself: where information lives, who needs it, and which repeated steps can be reduced.
Creator of the #1 Personal Dashboard template on Notion Marketplace
Designed custom content hubs, CRMs, and operations systems for local and international clients, delivered fully async across timezones
Built AI assistants and automations that turn hours of admin into one click, from invoice generation to on-brand marketing content
Extended beyond Notion with data and reporting systems using Make.com, Looker Studio, and Google Sheets for education programs and NGOs
Roy OS is the Notion × AI system I use and refine every day. I bring that daily practice into client work, with a focus on systems that are easy to understand, useful in practice and manageable after handover.
My youth development work spans career exploration, programme delivery, partnership building, and outcomes evaluation. Through Pursuit of X, I help young people aged 15 to 25 discover their strengths, values, and next steps. Watching them find their own sense of purpose reminds me why this work matters.
Curated 60+ internships and authentic learning experiences with 60+ employer partners across Hong Kong
Delivered 15+ career events across youth development programmes
Worked on a CLAP@JC-funded bootcamp with partners including LinkedIn and PayPal
Ideas I Live By
01
People first
Technology and systems are tools. People are the point. I start with how you and your team work and what matters to you, then choose the tools, so people who care can put their energy back into what matters.
02
Systems thinking
Every part is connected to the whole. Look at one part alone and you often see only the surface. So I first look at how information, processes and people connect, then decide where to start.
03
Strategic leverage
The same effort, put in the right place, can have many times the impact. I love finding the leverage points, and using the least effort for the biggest change.
04
Simplicity
As a child in my father's office, I saw how a desk buried in memos wore a person down. The simpler a system is, the more people keep using it. I keep only what is truly needed, so people have room to focus and create.
